Hi, I’m Claire

Hi, my name is Claire, nice to meet you!

Do you have a message or an idea you are passionate about and you need to share with others?

I work with people who have something to say and want to say it well.  I help them craft a powerful speech and deliver it with confidence.

My clients have delivered their speeches at national conferences, the House of Lords, at industry gatherings, and at product launches. They have spoken at City Hall and in church halls.

The event and audience may differ from speech to speech but the techniques for persuading an audience are universal.

Claire’s background

Claire Carpenter is an award-winning speaker and speaking coach.

She has had a varied career which has seen her working behind the bar in the House of Commons while earning her international business degree, in the European Parliament as an intern during the election of 1994, and in the City as PA to the MD of Citibank—all the while studying the impact that words have in politics and in business.

She took to speaking herself after publishing two children’s books and learnt the techniques that brilliant speakers use to mesmerise their audiences. Putting those techniques into practice led to her scooping first place in the national competition of the Professional Speaking Association 2014.

Her expertise is showing business owners how their choice of words is impacting on their bottom line—for good and bad.

As well as writing speeches for CEOs, business owners and entrepreneurs, she has also written articles for The Times, The Independent and a host of online magazines.  She has also appeared BBC Radio and The Alan Titchmarsh Show on ITV.

She is committed to helping young people succeed and has worked with the Princes Trust.  She also authored the children’s book series Yes You Can Books, and has delivered inspirational workshops in schools.
